STYLE IS INBORN: ADVANCED STYLE

  
I’ve been following this project since the beginning and it is hands down, without a doubt, my favourite style blog of all time. Advanced Style is a documentary film about stylish older women living in New York City. The film follows the daily lives and inspiring moments of NY’s most fashionable seniors: fashion royalty such as Iris Apfel and Tziporah Salamon.

These portraits of women aging gracefully with tremendous spirit will challenge conventional ideas about beauty, growing old, and the Western culture’s increasing obsession with youth. I warmed to Advanced Style so much not only because of the fearlessness of the women, but because I feel this is exactly how I will end up one day – and unlike most of our generation, I cannot wait!
