You can’t have missed the fact that Aztec is in fact EVERYWHERE. That’s no bad thing though, because as our temperamental weather swings between sunny days and downpours, I for one need something consistently bright and cheery to lift my spirits. Aztec is nothing if not bright and cheery. Mental chevron zig zags, eye-aching neon colours, gold embellishment…my heart is jumping for joy just thinking about it.
Anyone that follows us on Pinterest will know that I’ve been pinning pictures of Steve Madden’s Aztec Winonna wedges for months now. Just think how many things you could wear them with – they contain pretty much every colour on the chart. I’m completely lusting after the ASOS Aztec watch too and it’s included in the ‘Birthday List Please Thanks’ document I’ve left on my boyfriend’s desktop. If it’s just too colourful for you, ASOS also do a monochrome colourway. Topshop’s Aztec print denim jacket is a great way to wear this look if you don’t go in for all that colour, and it’ll last you more than a season too, which the blue-orange-pink-yellow-green items may not…
